Laidlaw Scholar Joined Us

We have been successful in securing a Laidlaw Scholarship, which allows a talented first-year student to join the group over the Summer both this year, and next year.

We received many high-quality applications, and the decision has been difficult, but we are happy to announce that Ashley Oldershaw has won the scholarship and started working on the new robot TIAGo.

Ashley is doing research on planning for autonomous mobile robots, preparing the ground to lead a student team starting from the Autumn.
